MellelHack #12: Them @#$!in’ Diamonds
Diamonds may very well be a girl’s best friend, but sometimes they’re also Mellel users’ worst nightmare.
Any veteran Mellel user have come to know (and usually, hate) them diamonds. You know, the ones which appear in the styles lists, next to styles that are not part of the style set? They were ANNOYING, and it was hard to get rid of them.
Now, we finally have a cure: Mellel 4.1.2, although just a minor bug-fix release, includes a reorganized Replace Stylesfeature, which allows you to spot those diamond styles and eliminate them, with separation of those paragraph and character styles into sections, based on where they are (in the document, in the page style, note style, etc.).
So… what did we learn today? That while diamonds are one the strongest, toughest materials in nature – there’s nothing too tough for Mellel to crush.
